Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS MOBILITY THERAPY? Mobility therapy is a specialized practice that goes beyond traditional assisted stretching. It integrates techniques from multiple disciplines, including myofascial release (a method used in massage therapy), traction (commonly utilized in physical therapy) to improve movement quality, joint health and overall function. This approach focuses on enhancing joint stability, strengthening soft tissue and connective tissue, while also addressing muscle imbalances to prevent injuries, overuse issues, and degenerative conditions. By assessing movement patterns, mobility therapists can identify signs of untreated injuries or dysfunction, helping clients improve their biomechanics and long-term physical health. Beyond physical benefits, mobility therapy also has a profound effect on the nervous system. Through guided deep breathing and targeted mobility work, clients experience reduced stress levels, improved sleep, and a greater sense of relaxation. The goal is not only to restore movement but to optimize it, promoting longevity, resilience, and overall well-being.💪

HOW DOES IT WORK? 1. Initial Consultation - First, we determine if my services are the right fit for your needs and confirm that you are within our service area. 2. Scheduling - We choose a date and time that works for you and we will send a confirmation the day before our appointment. 3. Session Preparation - On the day of your session, your mobility therapist will arrive approximately 10 minutes early with their therapy table to set up and discuss your health history, goals and any concerns. This ensures you receive the full, productive hour of hands-on mobility therapy. 4. What to Wear - We recommend wearing modest, athletic clothing that allows for unrestricted movement. 5. The Session - Each session lasts a minimum of 60 minutes, focusing on guided mobility techniques, assisted stretching, and targeted therapeutic work tailored to your needs. 6. Post Session Review - After the session, we will discuss how you feel, any observations from our time together, and a plan for continued progress.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Pricing varies depending on session length and individual needs. Our goal is to make mobility therapy accessible to those who need it, so we offer flexible pricing option when necessary. Additionally, we provide discounts for first responders as a way to give back to those who serve our communities. If you are interested in working together, we encourage you to reach out so we can discuss your need and find the right plan that works for you.
